Airsoft how many pistol mags

Some guns like the AK hold a lot of ammo and it would be more than sufficient with just one. The mid cap magazines for the M4 that I like to carry hold only rounds. That means I would have to carry 8 magazines rounds in total or I could carry just 4 High cap magazines rounds and still have more ammo. The reason people are picky about the types of magazines they use are because of play style. Two things to note: Magazines can wear out or break over time. Lubricate them with silicone oil to keep them working longer.

If your gun is not feeding the magazine is probably the first thing I would check. The other thing worth mentioning is that you should have extra batteries with you to match up with all the shooting you'll be doing. Alright so that should give you some math homework to think about! An important fact to note with most gas magazines is that, due to the way gas pistols and rifles load, the magazine will have a pair of feed lips that extend above the top of the magazine to position the BBs. While this allows gas guns to use every round in the magazine, the feed lips are often a weak point in the design, and if handled roughly or dropped, the lips can crack or snap off.

Fortunately, most manufacturers make replacements available! Airsoft shotguns are, quite frankly, a ton of fun. While there are a lot of shotguns out there, the most common variety of shotgun magazine is the Tokyo Marui type, which is about the same size and shape as a 12 gauge shell and holds 30 BBs.

The other style of the shotgun magazine is the Marushin type, which is shaped more like a traditional rifle magazine and can carry as many as 40 rounds. This will last you quite some time as the Marushin shotgun mechanism is spring-powered, and only fires one shot at a time. Regardless of whether you use an AEG, a shotgun, or a gas pistol, buying quality magazines and properly maintaining them can be the difference between success and failure at your next game.

WalkableBuffalo Posted February 3, Posted February 3, I just had my first match ever today and I brought an assortment of; Two round hicaps, a hicap and a midcap I wasn't well prepared the first game so I kept swapping mags but on the last few games I barely even swapped out once from my round I was planning on just getting a couple more hicaps so that I can just even out what have But anyway how many rounds and what sort of composition of magazines do you think is suitable for a game?
