Accessible car parking There are twelve parking spaces for disabled visitors, accessed via Park Street. To book accessible parking: Email ticketing tate. Once you have parked, enter via the South Entrance of the Blavatnik Building across the level terrace, approximately 30 — 60 meters from the parking spaces.

The spacious building, in former times a power station, is impressive. It stimulates the immagination. I think that's ultimately what matters when you visit the Tate Modern. At the same time, however, it also creates expactations that are too high. It'a pity that most of the exhibits can't keep up with the magnificience of the building.

In German news magazine "Die Zeit" named the 10 most influential artists of our time. It is thanks to the Tate that an exhibition of his work could be seen these days.

We had been looking forward to our visit to the Tate Modern but after a brief look round, we were seriously wondering why we had bothered.

Some of the other reviewers commented that there was much better talent outside the gallery. How right they were!

Some of the so-called art looked so amateurish that I think I could have done better myself! There was a frame with paper clips lined up on it — this is an exhibit? A small child could have done it.
