Why late implantation
The implantation of the fertilized egg in the wall of the uterus is necessary for the nourishment and growth of the fetus.
Surviving pregnancies implanted only about one day earlier, on average, than the non-survivors: But the day-by-day trend was clear. And once the egg is in the uterus whether through IVF or not , there is no way to force it to embed in the uterine lining. There is no evidence that late implantation by itself causes miscarriage.
